Risk Assesment

At Red Hill Environmental Education Centre we offer a range of programs suitable for students in all grades. All programs are KLA based, the emphasis being Human Society and Its Environment (Natural and Built Environments), Science and Technology, Environmental Education and Aboriginal Education.

All programs and activities at the Centre support the Environmental Education Outcomes in the NSW Board of Studies Syllabus Documents K-12

Programs are one to three days in length and can be tailored to suit individual school requirements.

A variety of sites are used to implement these programs including local nature reserves, national parks and historic locations in Gulgong and surrounds.

A program outreach service is available to schools particularly in the area of Environmental Sustainability.

Our staff is also available to assist schools with Professional Development Programs, the development of Environmental Programs for students and the development of School Environmental Management Plans. We are also available to address staff meetings.
